During the Twenty-sixth Meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice held in Nairobi, the ACB was one of the hosts for the side event Strengthening national biodiversity monitoring systems for enhanced implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The event enabled an open discussion with speakers on a round table dialogue session, where Parties shared their reflections on the strengths and challenges in monitoring and on the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework, and organisations involved in current initiatives to support and address needs will be able to respond to those needs further discuss means by which needs may be met.
