Ecosystem Mapping and Updating of Terrestrial Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs)

On 15 May, the Biodiversity Knowledge Management Department of the ACB took part in the Workshop on Ecosystem Mapping and Updating of Terrestrial Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) in the Philippines, co-organised with the Biodiversity Conservation Society of the Philippines,  Haribon Foundation, University of the Philippines Diliman, University of the Philippines Los Baños, and University of Santo Tomas.

Outputs of the event included an updated map of key terrestrial ecosystems in the Philippines and detailed profiles of key trigger species, including their distributions, population trends, and reproductive units.
